Completed in 1904, the Commanding Officer's House at Fort Worden served as the home to 33 different commanding officers and their families by the time Fort Worden shut down in 1955. Designed with an austere Victorian style, the interior of the home is rife with authentic Victorian furnishings and small items of luxury, like a brass chandelier and a copper sink. The house sits on its original site in what is now Fort Worden State Park, close to the Coast Artillery Museum.
