The Port Townsend Marine Science Center uses fascinating exhibits and displays to further their mission of educating the public about the conservation of the Pacific Northwest's precious shores and coastlines. Visitors can interact with the local ocean life in one of the two touch tanks offered at the center, or become more knowledgeable on the history of the bluffs and cliffs of the area. The center is on the northern tip of the city, in Fort Worden State Park.
